New Fabrication Workshop

Fabrication work has now commenced in WDS's new workshop facilities at Yatala, Queensland. The 2000m² workshop is serviced by 5 over head gantries with 350m² of office space and amenities, 7500m² of hardstand area, it can accommodate 6.5m wide construction, is a secure warehouse and houses several cranes, including:

• 2 x 10 tonne crane
• 2 x 5 tonne crane
• 1 x 2 tonne crane

The fabrication crew and staff members have settled in well to their new work environment and are enjoying the extra room, better working facilities and superior lifting capacity compared to what was on offer at the previous workshop.

The new facility and its enhanced capability allows WDS to fabricate large skid assemblies, pressure vessels and a higher volume of pipe work and is certainly going to be a draw card to both existing and prospective clients.
